We have two children who are fortunate enough to be a part of the family at Piedmont
School of Music & Dance (PSMD). Our daughter, Alley is 13 years old and joined Piedmont's dance program when she was 7 years old. Once she was exposed to the technique classes, she realized this is where she wanted to learn dance. From the directors to the staff instructors, she has learned how to be a disciplined artist as well as how to have fun and be herself. There is nowhere else she would rather be. Our son is
10 years old and has recently joined the family of PSMD as a student in the music program. He enjoys his guitar lessons and loves to show the family what he has learned. We could not be more pleased with the professional training as well as the personal attention the staff at PSMD so consistently provides for our children. We are blessed to have found a program with the quality we expect as parents combined with an environment both our children love.

"Dear Piedmont Dance, I just wanted to say how grateful and thankful we feel to have
participated and been a part of the most professional dance and music school. It has been a privilege, since day one, to be under your tutelage. You have made us feel like a member of a great, talented family. My wish is that we could have found/joined you sooner, but you have shown and proven it is never too late to take your dance to the next level. Thank you all so much! We love you-you are awesome. We will miss you!"

My daughter has been at Piedmont School of Music & Dance since the summer of 2005. I was not planning on attending during the school year because the drive is 15 minutes longer each way than her former dance school. Within 2 weeks she did not want to go back to her previous dance
studio anymore because she loved the teachers and the classes.
PSM&D has a very happy atmosphere where the teachers pay attention to all the students in the class and the students are friendly to each other.
As a parent, I would rather drive a longer distance and have the best teachers I can find for my children than settle for a less experienced teacher nearby. Someday my daughter may be a professional dancer, but even if she is not, I still want her to learn to dance with correct technique and be the best that she can be. That is why she attends Piedmont School of Music & Dance."

"Piedmont School of Music & Dance is beyond doubt the best dance program in the area. The instruction is of the highest quality, and the faculty treats the students as
people first, dancers second. Being in the program has honed my daughters sense of discipline in all areas of life, not just dance. She understands commitment, time management, and the payoff of hard work. Meredith loves every minute she spends dancing; not only does she love the art, but the environment at PSM&D has provided a nurturing social network that is rarely found.

through the art of dance. Over the last years, I have watched my daughter Leah, blossom in “Waltz of the Flowers” and fly gracefully across the stage in “Snow.” PSM&D is a gift to this community. They are passionate about dance and they are devoted to their students. I am so pleased to know that Leah is being challenged to always dance her personal “best.” She loves her PSM&D family."Lou Starnes (Leah's Mother)

students of all ages learn bountiful amounts of technique, confidence, and determination to carry on for a lifetime. It is amazing to see what Daniel Wiley and Rebecca Massey have done for their students, school and community in such a short amount of time. If I were a parent there would be no other option."Jill Marlow, Cincinnati Ballet

how they run their school and nonprofit company. The training I received from them helped to lay the groundwork for my technique and shape the dancer I have evolved into. In working with and alongside of the dancers, I have seen firsthand how their training has made them into dancers that are intriguing, quick learners, diverse and positive thinking."Anna Gerberich, North Carolina Dance Theatre

mont School of Music & Dance is the most exceptional studio that I have ever taught at. The combination of a positive atmosphere with hard working, fun loving students creates a wonderful learning environment. The teaching abilities of the staff are unprecedented in the Charlotte, Kannapolis, Concord area."Anthony Krutzkamp, Cincinnati Ballet
